About the Library
The Library is an integral part of HIMT college of Pharmacy Greater Noida. The library of HIMT College of Pharmacy has important role in supporting higher education as well as research activities in Pharmacy. The HIMT college of Pharmacy has an independent wing for the library with carpet area and measuring about 3600 sqft. The library of HIMT Pharmacy College has a particular compilation of Books and periodicals in the field of Pharmacy including Reference Books like Encyclopedia of Pharmaceutical Technology, Indian, U.S. & British Pharmacopoeias Dictionaries, Medical Dictionary, National and British Formulary, Merck Index, Martindale Decker Series etc. We also have subscriptions to most leading National and International Journals related to the Pharmacy
HIMT Pharmacy College has a 400 sqm in area, divided into periodical section, reference section, stack room and reading area. The library has more than 10,000 books. The library has the subscription of more than 26 national and international journals. Theses of all M. Pharm. projects are available in the library and are always accessible for reference purposes. Reference books include Merck Index, British Pharmacopoeia, Indian Pharmacopoeia, National formulary, European Pharmacopoeia and United States Pharmacopoeia. A subscription of Delnet for e-journal and books is also available which provide online access to more than 675 e-books and 96 journals.
Book Bank
Library provides Book Bank facility which is very much helpful in fulfilling student’s requirement for the prescribed books on semester basis.
Library Hours
The Library remains open on all working days of the Institute.
(Self reading area for students is kept open from 9 AM to 5 PM)
Web-OPAC
Library is providing Web OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue) Service to library user for get information about library collection which they require. Library user can search books, Journals by keyword of title, author, publisher, Subject and Accession number etc. at anywhere of world through internet connection and get information about searched collection like status of books (available or issued) Library user are get information of his/her library account like issued items, due date of book etc. and registered user of library can send request for require book by Web OPAC..
